 What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer Team Lead with a strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to lead our team in developing cutting-edge AI solutions.

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the team in designing, implementing, and optimizing NLP algorithms and models to address complex problems in various domains.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of AI engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Design, develop, and deploy NLP algorithms and models to extract insights from unstructured text data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Research and experiment with state-of-the-art NLP techniques to improve the performance of existing models.
• Implement scalable and efficient NLP pipelines for processing large volumes of text data.
• Evaluate and benchmark NLP models using appropriate metrics and techniques.
• Work on data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data augmentation to enhance model performance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP research and technologies.
• Contribute to the development of AI-driven products and services from prototyping to production.

Required qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and experience with building scalable and distributed NLP systems.
• Knowledge of linguistics, semantic analysis, and discourse parsing, with an understanding of linguistic theories and their applications in NLP.

Education and experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms, with a focus on NLP.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Hands-on experience with NLP libraries and frameworks like NLTK, SpaCy, Gensim, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Demonstrable experience working with graph databases, such as Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB, Neo4j or Amazon Neptune.
• Knowledge of graph analytics and graph algorithms is highly desirable.
• Experience in building and fine-tuning NLP models for tasks such as text classification, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and language generation.
• Familiarity with deep learning architectures for NLP, including recurrent neural networks (RNNs), convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and transformer models.
