We are excited to add to our stellar team. Gala is seeking Senior Product Managers for some of our products and divisions, one of which is our Core Chain products and their affiliated features. The ideal candidate is an analytical product manager with extensive experience dealing with large volumes of transactions in DeFi products. Gala has transitioned from being a web3 games and entertainment provider to a leader in the world of blockchains, with Gala Chain disrupting the ecosystem with its new offerings like GalaSwap and GalaCloud on its chain. We need a leader, a driver, someone who understands and can own the GalaChain ecosystem. You will drive a cohesive plan for moving the team and the product forward. The role involves strong 0-1 product judgment, user-experience understanding, and an analytical mindset to drive results and prioritize iterative and continuous improvements. This is a heroic opportunity to change the blockchain space.

The ideal candidate has prior blockchain experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. We would love someone with a deep passion for games, strong product management skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast-paced, evolving, creative-minded environment.
Responsibilities- Work with the leadership and core team to break down visions and strategies (directional input) into actionable product features and improvements.
- Create detailed specifications of products & features (technical, when required).
- Conduct user research and surveys across and outside our target audiences.
- Lead UI/UX designers to produce wireframes and UI/UX breakdowns optimized for the best user experience.
- Devise accurate medium-term roadmaps that span multiple functions (product, engineering, operations/sales).
- Present detailed metrics and breakdowns of audiences, behaviors, and flows weekly, if not more often, to reinforce confidence.
- Be fully responsible (Owner) for product metrics (growth and retention to begin with) and experiment outcomes.
- Bachelors in math, statistics, finance, or computer science/engineering.
- Masters in business administration from a Tier 1 school is highly desirable.
- Work Experience: 8+ years in software development with 6+ years of product management experience and 5+ years as a hands-on product manager.
- Demonstrated experience taking a product from 0 to 1 and 10 to 100 in a B2C setup.
- Prior professional experience working with the DeFi or trading web3 community (B2B or B2C).
- Strong quantitative data analysis & critical thinking skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Experience in driving high-quality user experience and ability to build detailed wireframes.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with a flair for organizational managerial skills.
