Description:
Hybrid role in Westlake TX. Our client is looking for a seasoned full stack software engineer to join a Next gen UI development team that will play a key role and will be responsible for designing, developing web applications, RESTful APIs and integrating them with workflow processing systems using the latest frameworks, technologies, and toolsets. The engineer will also work with other application teams to guide them to deliver scalable, reliable, efficient, and performant applications based on sound engineering practices and principles.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $58 - $68 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and support applications for industry leading brokerage platforms. The Nextgen brokerage UI centric teams are working on bringing rich workflow processing tools that can provide efficient, significant user experiences to associates to better serve Institutional clients. You will be joining a team of highly motivated and passionate engineers to help drive the technology and support the business to deliver high quality solutions.
Experience Requirements:
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (or higher) in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field.
- 12+ years of demonstrated ability leading and building Rich Internet Applications (RIA) and RESTful services using agile development practices.
- Proven experience designing enterprise end-to-end systems solutions such as desktop/web containers, workflow management systems, reusable frameworks using OOAD, design patterns and domain driven design.
- Strong experience building Single Page Applications (SPAs) and reusable web component using Angular framework, NgRx, Storybook, AG Grid, and bootstrap.
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful services using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Swagger, Docker, YAML, JSON.
- Passionate about writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code with a test-first development approach.
- Experience with building and maintaining unit tests and mock services using Jest, JUnit, Mockito unit testing framework.
- Experience with developing and running end to end automation test scripts using like Cucumber, Serenity, Chrome driver, Cypress.
- Experience with source code and project administration tools such as GIT, JIRA.
- Experience working with CICD pipeline, EKS, Docker, Jenkins, Udeploy, Terraform, Datadog, and Sonar.
- Experience with workflow processing system, AWS cloud services and Openfin is a plus.
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring junior developers.
- Financial/brokerage industry experience is a plus.
- 10+ years of demonstrated ability leading and building Rich Internet Applications (RIA) and RESTful services using agile development practices.
