Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to provide Windows support, manage company laptops, ensure efficient device management and provide first class, white glove customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Windows support, Linux Administration and device provisioning.
Responsibilities:
Windows Support:
- Provide support for Outlook, including managing local PST files and iPhone syncing for Email, Contacts, and Calendar.
- Address frequently encountered Office issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Handle exotic file system support with Windows, including managing long path names.
Company Laptop (Lenovo Thinkpads):
- Manage the provisioning of company laptops, including setup and configuration.
- Provide ongoing support for company laptops, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance.
Device Management Experience:
- Implement and maintain remote support solutions for efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Develop and implement procedures for handling lost devices, including remote wipe and recovery processes.
Onboard/Offboard Experience and Process Knowledge:
- Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including device setup and configuration.
Provide C-Level, White Glove, First Class Experience:
- Be CEO s go-to person for email, laptop, mobile and video conference support.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on MSOffice, Windows support, Linux Administration and device management.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting Outlook, Office issues, and exotic file system support.
- Experience with Lenovo Thinkpads and device management solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting BYOD environments (iPhone & Android)
- Perform basic network administration (VPN configuration, pfSense firewalls, Netgear routers, Juniper switches)
- Familiarity with conference room A/V equipment, including projectors, video conferencing systems, webcams, headsets, etc.
- Exceptional communication, organization, time management, & task management skills.
- Creates and maintains good technical documentation.
- Strong work ethic, hungry to prove themselves
- Ownership mentality - ability to identify problems and proactively come up with solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Information Technology
- Certifications in relevant IT disciplines (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator).
- Experience with products such as Slack, Jira and Zoom is highly desired.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
