Role: Cloud - Rancher, Kubernetes, Dockers - Architect

Position Description:
This is a highly specialized Cloud Architect role requiring strong technical expertise in Rancher, Kubernetes, and Docker. The ideal candidate will have significant experience architecting infrastructure environments using Rancher / Kubernetes in AWS and OCP, along with a strong background in cloud technologies. The candidate must also have proficiency in project management and effective communication with business teams and technical teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing large-scale OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
Strong experience with Rancher in a hybrid cloud environment.
Expertise in migrating legacy application workloads to Kubernetes or OpenShift.
5+ years of experience in AWS, including configuring AWS cloud services and developing within AWS environments.
Strong knowledge in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or EFK stack.
5+ years in AWS EKS and Observability.
Hands-on experience developing custom platform control plane webhooks, CRDs, and operators.
3+ years of experience with creating and deploying Helm Charts.
4+ years of experience using Git for version control.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including authoring playbooks and roles for platform maintenance.
RHEL administration experience (5+ years).
Preferred Skills & Experience:5+ years of Project Management experience.
Proficient with Microsoft products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and documentation of technical information.
Ability to communicate effectively with business teams, network/security teams, and customers.
Education Requirements:
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for educational requirements.
