We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team! Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory) is at the center of Microsoft's cloud strategy. We build and operate critical authentication, authorization and directory services that are used by millions of Azure, Office 365, XBOX and Windows users worldwide. In the mobile-first cloud-first world, sign-in and sign-up is the front door for reliable end user experience to use any of Microsoft cloud services. Responsibilities:
Design and develop large scale distributed software services and solutions. Drive modern software engineering practices through design reviews. System design through well-defined interfaces across multiple components, code reviews, leveraging data/telemetry to make decisions. Develop "best-in-class" engineering solutions by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined, modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, reusable and actively monitored for optimal performance. Improve test coverage for services, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas. Focus on customer/partner needs through a data driven approach. Gain a working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate with mentors and leaders to contribute to a cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users. Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability and monitoring for Live Site.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, working in Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, working in Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems.
- Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) detection, threat analytics, security incident and event management (SIEM), information technology (IT), and operations incident response.
