Title: Project Manager
Location: (Sun Paire, WI) Remote
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

  • Working with the program manager, you will define, plan, manage, and deliver large global cyber security projects in data security to ensure that results are achieved within the desired timeframes.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage cross-functional project teams and vendors across geographical locations to deliver complex projects that are diverse in scope and broad in nature by utilizing knowledge and expertise to apply independent judgment in complex situations.
  • Leverage expertise to effectively advise the business by developing delivery strategy and plans to ensure appropriate coordination across multiple disciplines and timeframes and to align project delivery with business goals.
  • Gather infrastructure, business, and IT estimates and ensure they are developed using sound principles and judgment.
  • Facilitate adherence to project management policies by developing and communicating tools and techniques needed to implement complex projects to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform analysis to identify innovative utilization of existing resources and potential solutions that facilitate decision-making to resolve issues preventing successful execution.
  • Manage the planning and implementation of complex initiatives by utilizing project management methodology, assigning tasks, and communicating with project team members to ensure adherence to deadlines and compliance with financial requirements.
  • Manage project budgets and resources by ensuring costs are in alignment with approved limits, documenting and reporting variances, forecasting, and securing resources, and collaborating with resource managers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks by creating risk management plans, managing interdependencies with other organizational projects, investigating problems, and performing in-depth analysis to ensure project delivery.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to key stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Facilitate the assessment of technical system requirements, designs, and specifications to execute the project.
  • Work with the teams to ensure that the appropriate testing is taking place.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by influencing others, holding people accountable, and collaborating.
  • Utilize established Client project management methodology/framework.
  • Collaborate with organizational change management to ensure the right communications are going out to the right people, at the right time.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers by regularly communicating, clarifying escalated inquiries, and jointly resolving issues to minimize risk, meet key project milestones, and ensure alignment with objectives.

Experience

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in project management; increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience in delivering technical solutions from concept, selection, installation, testing, and implementation
  • Experience implementing cyber security products and services
  • Experience following enterprise project management office guidelines

  • Manage complex projects concurrently and effectively
  • Ability to work in an agile environment (SaFE training skills preferred)

  • Facilitate the assessment of technical system requirements, designs, and specifications to execute the project
  • Communicate information in a clear, well-organized, and professional manner
  • Build relationships with senior managers to accomplish common goals

  • Prepare cost estimates of IT infrastructure, including maintenance, support, Hardware, Software, Build of Materials (BOMs), and SOWs from vendors
  • Have a functional understanding of cybersecurity
  • General knowledge of infrastructure, networking, servers, storage, and other components and systems
  • Applied knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Working knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources
  • Proficient with Office 365, Microsoft Project, Jira, and SharePoint
