The hourly pay range for this position is $30.00-46.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Intern - Electrical Engineering Intern - Cambridge, MA - Starting June - Aug 2025
Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing a graduate (MS, PhD) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a leading HealthTech company.
Your Role:
- Provide Electrical Engineering support for the development of next generation cardiac ultrasound imaging transducers
- Participate in the development of new circuitry for active imaging systems (integrated circuits or printed circuit boards)
or - Design an end-to-end model of an ultrasound system to demonstrate design parameter impacts on imaging performance and attributes
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary group of engineers ranging from mechanical, electrical, materials, acoustic, and system/software engineers
- Deep-dive into real-world engineering problems and learn to implement products through the engineering design process (Design-Build-Test-Learn-Repeat)
You're the right fit if:
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- You have tapped out a chip and are familiar with using the Cadence Virtuoso design tools
OR you are skilled in Python and Matlab - A strong team player (social skills, collaboration, and teamwork are all integral to a successful designs)
- An independent, self-sufficient, and responsible student
- Strong critical thinker and actively embrace new and challenging problems
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this hybrid Office/Remote position.
