Your Role and Responsibilities
Job Description
Join a first-class software engineering product development team to design, code, test and deliver software supporting and enhancing one of IBM's most successful enterprise-level cloud solutions using AI techniques and traditional software development methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development with experience using C#, .Net Framework, Jenkins, Microsoft Excel, and following Agile methodologies in a continuous delivery environment.
The successful candidate will have a passion for building high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.
The candidate will participate in requirements gathering, sprint planning, design and technical review to support overall achievement of business objectives.
The candidate must have previous experience with software architecture and leading a team to develop more robust services and systems for product improvement and enhancements.

Job Responsibilities
Participate in and lead the design and implementation of sophisticated software systems front end and backend with a focus on C# and .Net development.
Participate in and lead software design and code reviews. Reviews include other Software Engineers and are held to ensure a high level of software quality and to share knowledge with team members.
Participate in, lead, and adhere to, professional software engineering practices using such tools and methodologies as Agile Software Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Source Code Management (git), and GitHub
Participate in and lead the planning, creation and execution of automated test cases and load/performance testing.
Maintain a high level of proficiency with Computer Science/Software Engineering knowledge and contribute to the technical skills growth of other team members.
Work well independently and as part of a team.
Work as an Agile scrum team member and technical leader.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years of experience in Software Programming experience in C#.NET.
Experience designing and architecting software services and systems for desktop applications.
Experience using Microsoft Excel.
Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes or other cloud technologies.
Experience with REST API concepts.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools (CI/CD).

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Experience in developing .NET applications.
Familiarity with multidimensional databases and OLAP concepts.
Experience using build, deployment and development tools like Git, Travis, Jenkins, Yarn/NPM, Webpack/Gulp.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
