Responsibilities
- Conducts software technical analysis, application design, programming, debugging, testing, and application deployments to provide optimized technical solutions
- Develops and maintains Spring Boot microservices-based applications
- Provides technical guidance to other developers to design, build, and maintain the client's applications in an agile software development team using Kanban, Scrum, and other agile methodologies
- Troubleshoots technical and operational issues reported by the end-users in support of their custom-built applications that support the mission of the agency
- Experience performing technical guidance, peer reviews, test code modifications and workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering)
- Minimum 10 years of related experience
- Be able to obtain a government Public Trust clearance
- Must have solid experience in Java 1.8, Spring Boot, Angular, HTML, CSS, and SOAP/REST webservices technologies
- Experience with SQL developer, PL/SQL, SQL scripts, using Oracle database (12c, 19c)
- Experience with automation technologies such as GitLab and Jenkins to deploy applications in lower environments
- Experienced with various operating systems, including RedHat Linux, UNIX, Windows Server
- Experience troubleshooting SAP Business Objects issues and creating Business Objects reports is a plus
