Calgary AB CAN (Texas option) IMMEDIATE new job opportunity for an Operations Support Analyst who focuses specifically on Apex, OnBase and Command within Aggregates to join our clients North American team, ideally out of Calgary, Alberta. You will report to our Director of IT Business Solutions, and work closely with our internal key stakeholders in IT, Finance, as well as business (Asphalt, Aggregate). As an Operations Support Analyst you will play a crucial role in supporting the Aggregate and Asphalt front end systems. This role will be responsible for monitoring and support of the current systems, tracking and resolution on any incidents, system maintenance which includes updates, patches, and upgrades.
Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations and Finance to understand their needs and processes.
• Monitoring and support of systems to ensure they are running smoothly; this includes troubleshooting issues that arise and providing timely resolutions to issues.
• Managing the incidents for the Aggregate and Asphalt systems. This includes identifying the root cause, coordinating with various teams for resolution, and documenting the incident for future reference.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure systems are secure and up to date.
• User support providing technical support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, answering queries, and assisting with system access and permissions.
• Identifying inefficiencies in current processes and suggesting improvements to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Ensuring that operations comply with regulatory requirements and security standards. This includes monitoring access controls, data protection measures, and implementing security best practices.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• 3-5+ years experience within a Support Analyst capacity
• Understanding and familiarity with applications such as Apex, OnBase, and Command are also seen as valuable assets.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar quantitative disciplines. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
