Position Summary:

Energetiq is seeking a Senior Documentation Control Specialist to join a dynamic and growing technology company, working with a diverse cross-functional team supporting existing products and the development of new products. In this position, you will manage the entire process of engineering change orders, from analyzing requests to reviewing documents, updating databases, acting as a liaison between departments and ensuring data accuracy in various systems. As an essential member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining engineering and quality system documentation. This is a critical and highly visible role within our organization. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Revision control of BOMs, engineering drawings, work and test instructions, and PCBA documentation.
  • Maintain the Engineering Change Order (ECO) database.
  • Manage ECO record archives (electronic and paper).
  • Acts as a liaison between departments for ECO processing and sends out relevant communications throughout the process.
  • Prepare weekly status reports and lead weekly CCB (Change Control Board) meetings.
  • Configuration management create BOM structures for multiple product options.
  • Monitor and report status of KPIs to management team monthly.
  • Support documentation for new product releases and customer specials.
  • Working with our Supply Chain Director, prepare documentation packages for rollout to suppliers as needed
  • Manage changes to quality documentation in an ISO 9001 environment.
  • Lead and contribute to the improvement of the ECO process.
  • Ensure compliance of self/others with the QMS. Responsible for audits of the ECO process.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS in Engineering or related technical field and 5+ years of experience in managing ECOs through all stages in a manufacturing environment, OR Associate s degree in engineering and 10+ years of experience.
  • Prior experience in change management and document control is required.
  • Intimate knowledge and use of ERP systems is required. SYSPRO experience a plus (we will train).
  • Experienced with all MS Office apps. Pivot Table experience is highly desirable.
  • Basic skills using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, or other CAD tools, are a huge plus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter/proactive with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations.
  • Ability to work cooperatively at all levels in a matrix environment to build and maintain the positive relationships required to accomplish tasks.
