Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst - Business Professional
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)
Duration: 7-Month Contract (with potential extension)

Pay Rate: $60 - $64 /hr

Overview:
The Sr. Business Analyst will work closely with both business and technical teams to gather, document, and communicate requirements for large-scale, complex projects. This role involves applying domain expertise, supporting business partners, solving problems, mentoring junior team members, and leading cross-functional teams from concept to launch. The analyst will also ensure seamless execution through strong partnerships, process mapping, and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirement management for business operations and technology projects.
  • Ensure alignment across delivery teams for successful execution of business outcomes.
  • Create process maps for optimization or automation in various business/tech areas.
  • Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective delivery.
  • Support project teams as the "Voice of the Customer" in different delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Provide change management, post-implementation support, and business case development.
  • Offer mentorship to junior analysts and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Proven experience with large, complex cross-functional projects
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (preferred)
  • Certifications (IIBA CBAP, CSM/PSM, CSPO/PSPO, BPM, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus
