Title: Sr Mechanical Engineer

Location: Minneapolis MN

Duration: 12 Months

  • Hybrid work environment (3 days onsite per week)

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to support Vertical Launching Systems & Canister products. The role involves mechanical design, analysis, and production support, working with PTC Creo Parametric 4.0, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with military specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical products (ammunition handling, gun systems, missile launchers).
  • Conduct technical analysis, testing, and evaluation using specialized tools.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards & military specifications.
  • Develop 3D CAD models & technical documentation.
  • Present Change Notices to MRB, including mechanical & electrical component selection.
  • Serve as Technical POC for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) & Notices of Revisions.
  • Provide production support from shop floor development to full-scale manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers, Procurement, Quality, Operations, and Electricians to resolve design issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering & design.
  • Proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric 4.0 / Pro-E.
  • Experience with military/commercial design standards (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Failure Analysis (preferred).
  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
