Mid-Level Software Engineer

KBR has an opportunity to develop and maintain software for NASA's Johnson Space Center (JSC) Mission Control Center (MCC). KBR develops and sustains ground software for the International Space Station (ISS), space vehicles that visit the ISS such as the Boeing Starliner, SpaceX Dragon, and Sierra Nevada Dream Chaser, as well future programs such as Orion and Gateway.
The applicant will work in a team environment and will be responsible for software design, coding, testing, documentation, and user support after the release of the software. Some software support is required after business hours and over weekends as needed.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience
B.S degree in Computer Science or related degree.
C and C++ experience.
UNIX or Linux Operating System experience.
Desired
Familiarity with supporting software development projects using Object Oriented programming; knowledge of software development using agile practices and Java are a plus.
Successful candidates must be able to apply for and successfully receive and maintain security clearance per eligibility requirements.
