The Role

Our Team

The Ads Platform team builds the advertising systems and integrations that powers the delivery of ads using our world class content delivery ecosystem. We deliver ads in a manner that's thoughtful of our member's viewing experience and drive great outcomes for advertisers. We also ensure that advertiser brand safety is ensured during serving, members only see the most appropriate ads for them and Netflix's advertising policies and contracts are thoroughly enforced.

Our team is new and yet faced with the ambitions of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. As one of the newest entrants in the Connected TV advertising space that's rapidly growing, we seek to build unique value propositions that help us differentiate from the competition and become a market leader in record time.

We are looking for a Product Manager in the advertising space who is excited to join us on this journey.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to spearhead the development and management of our Identity and Audience products. This role will focus on delivering best-in-class solutions that enable advertisers to accurately target and reach their desired audiences across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of identity resolution, audience segmentation, and the digital advertising ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap:
    • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Identity and Audience products, aligned with business goals and customer needs.
    • Prioritize features, enhancements, and integrations to deliver maximum value to our clients.
  • Cross-functional Leadership:
    • Collaborate with engineering, data science, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
    • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating product vision, status, and updates.
  • Customer & Market Insights:
    • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
    • Translate customer needs and market trends into actionable product features and enhancements.
  • Identity and Audience Management:
    • Core graph - which IDs, household vs person definitions, data science work to define ID associations and scoring, graph availability to users
    • Audiences - data models and segment definition, advertiser solutions, modeling, managing catalog of segments offered
    • Oversee the development of identity resolution capabilities, ensuring the accurate and compliant handling of user data.
    • Drive the creation and refinement of audience segmentation tools that allow for precise targeting and personalization.
    • Enable seamless third party integrations with the partner ecosystem to push and pull audiences for activation and reporting.
  • Compliance & Privacy:
    • Ensure that all identity and audience products comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices regarding data privacy and security.
    • Stay ahead of changes in privacy laws and industry standards, adapting product strategies as necessary.
    • Consent management, data governance, programmatic / TCF signals, advocacy/industry engagement
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership:
    • Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in identity resolution, audience segmentation, and digital advertising.
    • Advocate for innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in the advertising industry.
Qualifications:
  • 5-8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in identity, audience, or digital advertising.
  • Strong understanding of identity resolution, audience segmentation, and the ad tech ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for identity and audience products.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $240 - $725k.
