Job Description:

A global professional services firm is currently seeking a Manager to join their International Development Assistance Services Institute.

Responsibilities:

  • Track major international initiatives across a broad range of international development areas and collaborate with global teams to identify and pursue key opportunities.
  • Provide technical and strategic guidance for the preparation of proposals and execution of projects for multilateral development banks (MDBs) and other national/international organizations.
  • Support internal teams in developing strategies and business plans for clients in the international development sector by fostering cross-functional collaboration and building multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the international development community.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership on international development to enhance brand recognition and positioning with major organizations.
  • Advise senior leadership on positioning and participation in international forums related to development.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the international development sector, preferably with global development organizations or consultancies.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master s degree preferred.

  • Extensive direct experience with MDBs, bilateral development agencies, or development/climate-focused international organizations required.
  • Strong understanding of global development and climate/environmental financing frameworks, processes, and business models preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading major proposals and projects in the development sector across various country environments.
  • Experience working in developing countries at a team leader level is preferred.
  • Fluency in a foreign language and/or international field experience is also preferred.
