Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Oracle HCM Solution Architect to lead critical HCM initiatives, particularly focused on Payroll, Benefits, and integration with ADP platforms.
This role requires deep functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud, the ability to work directly with business stakeholders, and extensive experience leading full lifecycle implementations, including CRP, UAT/SIT, and production cutover planning.
The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in gathering requirements, translating business needs into functional solutions, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across HR, Payroll, and Benefits processes.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Oracle HCM Solution Architect to lead critical HCM initiatives, particularly focused on Payroll, Benefits, and integration with ADP platforms.
This role requires deep functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud, the ability to work directly with business stakeholders, and extensive experience leading full lifecycle implementations, including CRP, UAT/SIT, and production cutover planning.
The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in gathering requirements, translating business needs into functional solutions, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across HR, Payroll, and Benefits processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary functional lead and advisor for Oracle HCM Cloud initiatives (Payroll, Benefits, Core HR).
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, including Payroll Managers, Benefits Administrators, HR Directors, and operational teams to understand day-to-day process pain points and strategic objectives.
- Lead the collection, documentation, and validation of functional requirements for system enhancements, integrations, and reporting.
- Serve as the functional architect for data integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and ADP, ensuring secure, accurate, and efficient data exchanges.
- Guide the design and solutioning of end-to-end business processes across HCM modules.
Lead key project phases including:
- Conference Room Pilots (CRP)
- Integration User Acceptance Testing (IUAT)
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Production cutover planning and execution
- Provide leadership and guidance through production support, stabilization, and post-go-live optimization.
- Work closely with technical teams (developers, integration specialists) to validate design and ensure functional requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years of functional Oracle HCM Cloud experience.
- Minimum 3+ full lifecycle implementations of Oracle HCM Cloud, leading CRP, IUAT, SIT, and Production Cutover.
- Strong functional expertise across Core HR, Payroll, and Benefits modules.
- Extensive hands-on experience working with ADP integrations, including outbound and inbound data exchanges between Oracle HCM and ADP (Workforce Now, Vantage, or similar).
- Proven ability to interact with and influence business stakeholders at all levels (managers, directors, executives).
- Strong documentation skills, including preparation of functional requirement documents (FRDs), test cases, and integration specifications.
- Deep understanding of HR and Payroll business operations and pain points in large organizations.
- Experience planning and leading production cutovers and hypercare support phases.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with secure data transmission protocols (SFTP, encrypted files).
- Knowledge of Oracle HCM security configurations and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Experience with Oracle HCM Extracts, BIP reports, and HDL (data loading concepts) is a plus.
