BDR is seeking an HR Generalist to join our growing team! This position will be performed virtually from the individual's home office working on EST time schedule.

Role Overview
The Human Resource Generalist (HRG) will support the routine functions of the HR department including associate relations matters, benefits, leaves, and enforcing company policies and practices, among others.
Responsibilities
- Understands and supports the organization's human resource strategy particularly as it relates to talent management, retention, and employee engagement.
- Provides support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to employment, employment records, employee relations, performance reviews, benefits, training and special projects.
- Assist on the day-to-day delivery of HR functions for employees (HR Inbox Monitoring, onboarding, performance management, etc.). Partner with HR Manager (HRM) for People Manager matters.
- Act as liaison between employee and Benefits if necessary to provide consultation and problem resolution.
- Provides support to employees, on questions and issues that arise; administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Drives learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Partners in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and executes investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Maintains knowledge of regulatory changes, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum three years of HR Generalist experience required; 5+ years a plus.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
- HR experience within Government Contracting strongly preferred.
- Experience with Rippling a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS.
- Ability top attend meetings in person throughout the year at least 2-3 times per year.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
