Software Development Engineer, Network Telemetry

Description Apple Information Security is looking for a software developer to work on innovative technologies used throughout Apple. Minimum Qualifications

• Significant programming experience with two or more of the following: Ruby, Python, Elixir, Java, Golang,
• Swift, C, C++, and/or objective-C programming languages
• Skilled in cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform, container technologies such as Docker and
• Kubernetes, and Microservices
• Experience with machine learning, deep learning, behavioral analytics, and applied statistics
• Preparing and collecting data for training/analysis and ensuring data quality.
• 3+ years proven programming skills using standard ML tools and languages.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with reading and writing SQL
• Comfort with macOS, Linux, or other Unix-based operating systems
• Strong test-driven approach to writing code
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Extraordinary debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with coding techniques and standard methodologies for security, performance
• optimization, and ease-of- use
• Experience with network architecture and programming
• Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning (including LLMs) and natural language
• processing.
• Experience with large scale distributed data processing frameworks like Hadoop and Spark/Flink Practical
• experience working with and conducting experiments on datasets then turning prototypes into production
• applications
• Bachelors in Computer Science, or related 5+ years industry experience

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
