Technical Analyst / Project Manager WMS Consultant

Seeking a Technical Analyst / Project Manager WMS Consultant for our 20 year+ DIRECT Pharma client.

Experience Needed:

• 3+ Years of Supply Chain experience with Warehouse Systems Deployments
• Project Management Professional (PMP), APICS or Agile Certification Preferred
• Experience with ERP and WMS, GxP and/or non-GxP solutions (SAP, Blue Yonder WMS, Red Prairie or other WMS)

Summary:

The scope of this work includes gathering all requirements for the technical end-to-end cutover plan, the creation of a detailed plan, coordinating the execution of rehearsals and all preparation activities for Cutover Go Live, along with any required reporting to Overall Cutover and Ramp Up Lead, Project leadership and business sponsors. The role will assist in the creation and management of the ongoing execution of the Integrated Cutover Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Develops detailed cutover checklist and project plan incorporating both technical and operations and/or business
• Responsible for creating and maintaining the Cutover Project Plan as per the cutover standards
• Responsible for detailed project management of the cutover plan, resolving discrepancies or process issues related to cutover activities.
• Works closely with the Cutover Lead to ensure successful planning and execution of integrated release cutover activities and associated system outages (Blackout Period)
• Assists in the planning of the resources, human and physical required for cutover activities.
• Assists in the development of the command center logistics, communication and escalation plan and command center documentation. (policies, procedures, downtime processes)
• Provides analysis and status for the reporting to project leadership and key stakeholders
• Involved in coordination of legacy shut down activities prior to Go Live
• In conjunction with the Cutover Lead, helps in the execution of the cutover activities for Pre Go-Live and Go-Live
• Works closely with each work groups to document the cutover plan for each site
• Working closely with the Site Leads and Cutover Lead, develops the testing plan for back out and/or contingency plans for Cutover
• Coordinates with Cutover Lead for the requirements for Go Live including staffing and overall logistics

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Experience with developing and managing cross functional dependencies, go-live readiness assessments, stage-gate reviews, and go/no-go decisions.
• Understanding of supply chain processes (operations) and relevant supply chain KPIs.
• Demonstrated experience in managing workshops, facilitating groups/meetings, and leading stakeholders through planning and execution exercises.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills on different levels in a matrix, global organization
• Demonstrated cutover experience with leading project team to meet milestones/go-live deadlines and objectives
• Ability to communicate cutover progress to Project Leadership
• Proactive risk identification, mitigation and monitoring
• Experience in creation of project deliverables with completeness, quality, and compliance in line with established project standards and templates
• Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Project, Excel and SharePoint (i.e. lists)
• Demonstrated learning agility with cutover best practices

Deliverables:

1. Technical Cutover: System build, transport of code & configuration to production, manual IT cutover tasks
2. Data Conversion: Works with Data Lead for data extraction from legacy systems, pre-load, load, post-load and validation activities
3. Legacy & Satellite Systems (including decommissioning) Working with Systems Leads satellite interface changes, shutdown, and connectivity; decommissioning of old system (if in scope)
4. Business Cutover: Working with Cutover Lead to assist the physical changes at the plants, manual data collection, communication, CO release
