Job Summary
Responsible for delivering key projects and initiatives by applying devops, data engineering, and novel technologies such as artificial intelligence within the context of CB's managed services. Responsibilities include streamlining operations through automation, creating and maintaining data lakes, leveraging technologies such as Kubernetes, Hadoop, and more. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities
  • Taking initiative and leadership of a diverse set of projects, from requirements gathering through to completion.
  • Designing, testing, and presenting solutions to business problems, including architectural designs and software development.
  • Perform exploratory analysis of processes and systems, with an eye toward identifying opportunities for automation and improvements.
  • Being an SME (Subject Matter Expert) on matters of Data Engineering and DevOps.
  • Design, develop, and deploy next-generation solutions to our products and services, including Data Lakes, Containerization, Data Pipelines, and more.
  • Using logic, programming, and AI/ML to create tools to help solve business needs from scratch that enhance functionality.
  • Stay current with DevOps and Data Engineering trends and suggest improvements to existing systems and workflows.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
