Senior Drupal Architect

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drupal Architect to lead our migration project from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data migration, system upgrades, and custom module development. You will play a key role in enhancing our core system's performance and implementing advanced features using CKEditor 5 and custom APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drupal Migration: Lead the migration process from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining data integrity and functionality.
- Data Migration: Oversee the migration of data using the Migrate API, addressing any challenges and ensuring accurate data mapping and transfer.
- System Upgrades: Manage the upgrade of Apache (2.4.37) and the Drupal core, focusing on performance improvements and security enhancements.
- CKEditor Development: Implement CKEditor 5, including the development of custom plugins and APIs to extend its functionality and improve user experience.
- Architecture Design: Design and document the technical architecture for the new Drupal 10 application, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the new Drupal 10 application for performance, implementing best practices and new technologies where applicable.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, migration processes, and development workflows.
