Job Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst in the manufacturing industry, based in Portland, Oregon. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, analyzing manufacturing processes, and designing system solutions that integrate with Infor ERP. This is a fully remote opportunity with occasional travel a couple times a year. Ideal preference is for someone who resides in Washington or Oregon.


Responsibilities:


Conduct a thorough analysis of engineer-to-order manufacturing processes, identifying areas for optimization.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, particularly in relation to manufacturing workflows and production planning.

Analyze existing systems and design solutions that can be integrated with Infor ERP, focusing on project management functionalities.

Assist in the configuration, customization, and integration of Infor ERP to meet our specific manufacturing requirements.

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring that the system functionality aligns with business needs post-transition.

Produce high-quality documentation, including user manuals, system specifications, and process maps.

Solve complex business and technical problems, providing innovative solutions that enhance system functionality and user experience.

Manage relationships with stakeholders and users, ensuring their needs are met throughout the transition lifecycle.

Create training materials tailored for manufacturing staff, focusing on the usage of Infor ERP systems.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure project milestones are met, focusing on manufacturing-related deliverables.

Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in manufacturing operations.

Manage and oversee data conversion processes from current ERP system to Infor ERP, ensuring data integrity and compliance with business rules.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role working within ERP systems
  • 2+ years experience in the manufacturing industry highly preferred
  • Proficient in business systems and gap analysis
  • Experience in agile scrum methodologies
  • Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Infor M3 & LN highly preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to define and refine requirements for business systems
  • Proficient in MySQL database management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
