Exciting opportunity alert! Join a dynamic and fast-growing Point of Sale SaaS shop as a remote fullstack .NET Developer. You'll be an integral part of the Engineering team that's revolutionizing the future of their core POS platform. This is a greenfield role where you'll be using cutting-edge technologies like C#, .NET 5, Microservices, Angular 13, TypeScript, REST, CI / CD, Docker, Azure DevOps, ADF, & other Azure tools to build the next generation of their platform.

As a hands-on platform builder with extensive experience in developing scalable data platforms, you'll be responsible for gathering user requirements, defining system functionality, and writing business-driven code. You should also be well-versed in the agile software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices
  • Gather requirements by working with business minded peers
  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Develop software verification plans, automated unit tests, and quality assurance procedures
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback

Job Details

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • Experience working with C#, .NET / .NET Core, TypeScript, & Angular
  • Experience with building APIs and services using REST
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases such as SQL
  • Experience working in a Microservices environment
  • Familiarity with CI / CD relying on a strong DevOps focus
  • Experience with Azure & Azure DevOps (AWS or Google Cloud Platform are okay)
  • Ability to learn and utilize new technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment

Pluses
  • Experience building POS (point of sale) or ticketing systems industry experience
  • Experience with ADF or other Azure services
  • Experience with Python or other languages
