Description:
Seeking a dedicated and skilled PC Technician (Device Refresh Technician) to join our team. This role focuses on the hardware lifecycle refresh, ensuring that our medical staff have the most up-to-date and reliable technology to provide exceptional patient care. As a traveling field technician, you will be responsible for deploying hardware, troubleshooting issues, and providing top-notch customer service across multiple locations. This role could also have a capacity within the Project Team, multiple concurrent projects, including the Room of the Future, Corporate Office Decommissioning, Corporate Office Workstation Builds, Printer Refresh, and Laptop/Desktop Refresh. Candidates must be flexible and willing to adapt to evolving business needs and workload fluctuations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy hardware and ensure devices are properly connected to the network.
Troubleshoot Level I issues in real-time.
Understand intake processes related to IT Service Management (ITSM).
Collaborate effectively with team members while also being able to work independently.
Interact with medical staff, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with hardware deployment and network connectivity.
Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with Level I issues.
Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Coachable, adaptable, and a self-starter.
Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
