Job Details

A leading manufacturing organization is looking to add an Electrical & Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will evaluate, design, and implement advanced electrical and control systems for heavy industrial CNC machine tools and robotics. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, create impactful solutions, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality.
This role requires hybrid in their Bradley Illinois office. If you have experience working with CNC and electrical schematics this is the role for you.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience (1-5 years).
  • Expertise in programming languages such as IEC 61131-3 (object-oriented extension), C#, HTML5, JavaScript, and familiarity with C++ is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motion control, robotics, distributed I/O, fieldbus systems (EtherCAT), and HMI technologies.
  • Proficiency in developing electrical diagrams and panel layouts.
  • Strong understanding of IT networking, Windows, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a self-starter attitude
