Job Description


Develop and delivers detailed dynamic simulation solutions through consulting project activities. The engineer must be able to develop engineering models using dynamic simulation to identify ways to solve complex design,operational, and trainingneeds faced by customers in the Power, Oil and Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, and Chemical Industries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop dynamic process simulation engineering studies and operator training simulator projects
  • Executing engineering analysis studies to identify ways to solve complex design and operational issues faced by company customers in the Power, Oil and Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemical Industries
  • Technical focus includes: dynamic process modeling, dynamic simulation engineering studies, operator training simulators, project management, development of high-fidelity simulators, working with control systems, safety systems, and programmable logic controllers
  • Develops and maintains effective customer relationships
  • Consult and work effectively with project managers, lead engineer, and peer engineers in groups across the world
  • Employ technical writing skills to write project documentation and reports
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' progressive experience in a related chemical engineering position that includes process simulations, process design, process operations or an equivalent technical role
  • Experience must include knowledge and use of steady state and/or dynamic simulation software. Exposure to process engineering, refinery processes, Operator Training Simulator systems is a plus
  • Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative, effective and efficient ways.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage diverse workload
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
  • Supervisory experience is a plus

  • Fluency in English (oral and written), other languages are beneficial
  • Culturally sensitive and globally aware
  • Willingness to travel internationally
