Job Description:

We are hiring an experience Resource Manager – Operations/Business Intelligence to work for us as our direct, W2 Salaries or hourly employer to join our team. We are looking for experience leading cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of enterprise software solutions. Proven expertise in managing analysts to gather, refine, and translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications. Skilled in aligning technology initiatives with strategic business goals, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and project ROI. You will:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of  Business Analysts.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and professional development planning.
  • Foster a positive collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and prioritize multiple concurrent  initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Act as an escalation point and problem-solver for complex analysis challenges.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Policy, IT, Operations, and Compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure solutions meet end-user needs.
  • Communicate project statuses, risks, and insights to executive leadership.
  • Guide the team in gathering and interpreting data to drive policy and operational decisions.
  • Identify trends, opportunities for automation, and areas of improvement.
  • Support budget planning, program evaluations, and regulatory reporting.
  • Ensure alignment with CMS regulations and state  requirements.
  • Develop and maintain standards for business analysis deliverables and documentation.
  • Champion the adoption of best practices in business analysis and data governance.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 5–12 analysts across multiple concurrent projects. Oversee workload distribution, performance reviews, skills development, and mentoring.
  • Requirement Management: Direct the development of detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories. Ensure all deliverables met quality standards and business needs.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate regular workshops and discovery sessions with product owners, department heads, and end users to capture evolving requirements and refine scope.
  • Methodology Enforcement: Champion agile/scrum methodologies, ensuring BAs were effectively embedded in scrum teams, actively participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
  • Process Improvement: Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation, increasing team efficiency and reducing rework by 30%.
  • Tool Utilization: Implement and optimize usage of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps to streamline requirement tracking, traceability, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Global Implementation: Oversee analyst efforts during a company-wide ERP transition. Coordinate requirement gathering across finance, logistics, and procurement, ensuring alignment with global process standards.
  • Customer Portal Redesign for E-commerce Platform: Lead the analyst team in mapping user journeys and defining business rules, resulting in a 25% increase in customer retention.
  • Regulatory Compliance in Healthcare IT: Guide analysts in translating federal compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA) into system controls and audit logs.

 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Experience with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio) and data analysis platforms (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • CBAP, PMP, or related certification is a plus.
