What You'll Do

As a DevOps Systems Administrator, you'll be at the forefront of technology, tackling complex challenges in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering and maintaining server systems on local and wide-area networks.
• Supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Managing infrastructure and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Investigating and resolving technical issues, ensuring smooth operational workflows.
• Contributing to the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to support agile, high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD

Required Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: BA/BS degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Clearance: TS clearance adjudication and ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments.
  • Experience configuring and managing Linux operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, Ansible, and Puppet.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline concepts and tools.
  • Strong understanding of big data concepts and cloud technologies such as AWS and Oracle.
• Certifications: Active Security+ certification.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data analytic systems.

Desired Qualifications:

• Eligibility to obtain an SCI with polygraph.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for team collaboration.
• Knowledge of Ruby and/or Python for scripting and automation.
• Expertise in using container tools like Docker.
• Experience with DevOps pipelines and code optimization.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
