RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
* Maintain and troubleshoot on-premises and cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
* Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
* Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes
* Collaborate with software development teams to optimize deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
* Implement and maintain security controls and compliance standards
* As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management on servers and network equipment
* Develop documentation and best practices for infrastructure management
* Support disaster recovery planning and implementation
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related role
* Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and virtualization technologies
* Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
* Hands-on experience with networking, firewalls, and security best practices
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Understanding of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
