Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Web (C#) Developer in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan. The role involves the development of web-based applications that streamline business processes across the organization. This position is integral to our operations, requiring a professional with proficiency in a range of programming languages and development tools.
Responsibilities:
Develop and design computer programs that automate specific business processes
Create applications that support all aspects of our manufacturing operations
Actively communicate and document application requirements with internal and external customers
Prepare flow charts and write application instructions and procedures for users
Debug and document programs to ensure their efficient operation
Assist other developers with the design and development of business applications when necessary
Utilize a range of development tools including Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
Employ various programming languages such as C#, JavaScript Libraries (Vue, Angular, JQuery), HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, Python, Powershell, and .NET Framework
Work with CSS/JavaScript Frameworks such as Vuetify, AXIOS, Vuex Store, NPM
Manage databases including MS SQL Server and TSQL
Utilize project management tools like YouTrack, GitLab (SVN), Git
Work with website/cloud services including AWS, Laravel Forge, and WordPress
Utilize other tools such as Signal R, Crystal Reports, and Bartender Label Making Software
Requirements
Proficiency in C Sharp Programming (C#)
Strong knowledge of ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC Framework
Familiarity with .NET and .NET Framework
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, and jQuery
Solid understanding of HTML
Proficiency in MVC Framework
Experience with API - Application Programming Interface
Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is a plus
Experience with MS SQL Server
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage one's time
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve the issue
Strong attention to detail.
