Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Join our dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Engineer! We're looking for a seasoned professional with a knack for mitigating risks associated with software development and deployment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and weekly planning sessions
- Collaborate closely with the development team, including scrum masters, business analysts, developers, and automation test engineers
- Contribute to user stories and develop testing criteria
- Build and enhance test automation capabilities to drive automation testing
- Work on custom applications handling document imaging and records management
Skills Required:
- 4-6 years of experience in mentoring junior testers and driving test direction
- Hands-on experience with test automation and execution
- Proficiency in DevOps (containers, CI/CD pipelines)
- Strong experience in automation user interface testing and API testing
- Expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, QFaaS, Karate
- Highly skilled in development using Java and JavaScript
Soft Skills:
- Excellent collaboration and team player abilities
- Flexibility on ideas and implementations
- Comfortable presenting within the team and to business stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and ability to drive testing strategy
Education/Certifications:
- Relevant work experience is required
