Description
We are seeking an Information Technology Support Specialist in Washington, District of Columbia. The role will involve providing support across a range of IT functions within our organization. This position will entail a focus on hardware and software configuration, customer service, and maintaining our inventory database.
Responsibilities:
Configuring and setting up hardware devices such as desktops, laptops, displays, printers, telephones, and mobile devices.
Providing technical support for all desktop applications and collaborating with engineers when needed for resolution.
Utilizing the organization's support ticketing system to create, update, and close out requests.
Delivering courteous and timely assistance for service tickets that have been escalated.
Providing technical support for conference room setups and video conference meetings.
Assisting with projects such as hardware replacement, application testing, configuration changes, and other improvements.
Working outside of standard business hours when required for tasks such as office power maintenance or time-sensitive projects.
Assisting with the imaging of PCs, equipment setups, and quality assurance.
Keeping the inventory database up to date and accurate.
Providing remote support for personnel working from home or in other offices.
Performing other duties as required.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of Information Technology Support
Demonstrated proficiency in Android Development
Proficient understanding and experience with Cisco Technologies
Familiarity with Citrix Technologies
Strong knowledge of Mac Computers
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, platforms, and operating systems
Experience with Active Directory
Ability to support and troubleshoot Apple Devices
Strong understanding of Computer Hardware
Experience in Configuration Management
Demonstrated ability in managing and executing IT Deployments
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in a team and independently
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Relevant certifications in IT support are preferred
