Position Summary

With direct supervision, is responsible for work assignments on a part-time or temporary employment basis while enrolled in a university degree program. Assignments are intended to provide entry-level experience and training related to the degree discipline and in Parker business structure, operational functions, customers, and products.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acquire knowledge of various department operations, functions, responsibilities and work flow.
Complete well-defined work assignments and actively participate in hands-on projects and/or special assignments.
Learn and become proficient at systems and procedures applicable to work assignments and functional area.
Maintain communication with team leader to include feedback on assignments, scheduling, and program improvements.
Immediate work direction may be assigned to an experienced team member.
Perform other related responsibilities.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Enrolled in university coursework toward a college degree in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Ability to work effectively in a variety of administrative, technical and manufacturing assignments.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all contacts.
Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

SALARY INFORMATION:

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for Connecticut. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: \$19.20hr-\$25hr
