About the Role
As a Solution Engineer SME, you will play a key role in helping clients maximize their Acumatica solution. You'll collaborate closely with teams across client account management, sales, and consulting to ensure they stay informed about system capabilities and evolving client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to enhance their Acumatica environment using tools such as dashboards, generic inquiries, business events, notifications, workflows, and custom consulting solutions.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills and exceptional communication abilities to deliver high-quality solutions within set timelines while meeting billable targets.
- Conduct paid discovery sessions for clients and prospects, working with Account Executives and Client Account Management to estimate engagements. Develop configuration blueprints while adhering to project budgets.
- Create compelling presentations and materials for client meetings and marketing events, demonstrating expertise in industries such as distribution, manufacturing, construction, e-commerce, and finance.
- Lead deep-dive product demonstrations for potential clients, conducting discovery calls to assess business needs and challenges.
- Maintain expertise in Acumatica ERP, particularly in Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Project modules. Additionally, stay up-to-date with Microsoft products, including Power Platform, Azure, and M365, along with any required certifications.
- Take ownership of the Acumatica relationship by managing portals, training materials, promotions, and technology roadmaps.
- Keep internal teams informed about new system capabilities and upcoming software releases.
- Contribute to the development of our FastTrack implementation strategy, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Services to refine our methodology.
- Continuously invest in professional growth through books, seminars, training, and other learning opportunities.
Technical Advisory Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize demo systems to efficiently showcase solutions to clients and prospects.
- Document and organize discovery notes from client interactions within the company's CRM for team-wide access.
- Facilitate a seamless transition from sales to consulting by preparing solution documents and participating in client kickoff meetings.
- Support marketing efforts by contributing to campaigns and writing blog posts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in business, science, or a related field.
- Minimum four years of experience in the business application software industry.
- At least two years of hands-on experience in Acumatica solution design.
- Experience using software similar to the solutions represented by the company.
