Platform Engineer (Cloud/DevOps)

We're partnering with an innovative company in the tech and entertainment space that's building a cutting-edge platform to support scalable, high-performance applications across hybrid cloud environments.

*This role is onsite in Dallas, TX*

As a Platform Engineer, you ll play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining a modern, Kubernetes-based infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about automation, infrastructure-as-code, and building resilient systems at scale.

What You ll Do

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters to support containerized workloads across multiple environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform services using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Build observability solutions including monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Optimize platform performance through health checks, auto-scaling strategies, and resource tuning.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and IT teams to ensure seamless platform integration and support.
• Implement and enforce best practices for platform security including RBAC, secrets management, and pod security policies.
• Exposure to serverless platforms and event-driven systems.

What We re Looking For

• 4+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes cluster setup, networking, storage, and security.
• Strong skills in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid environments.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash.
• Working knowledge of observability tools and modern monitoring practices.

Nice to Have

• Multi-cluster Kubernetes experience and service mesh knowledge (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
• Experience with distributed systems or managing data infrastructure.
