Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team, focusing on statistical modeling, data visualization, and machine learning. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract insights, design experiments, and develop explanatory models that inform decision-making. This role requires a strong foundation in statistical methodologies and hands-on experience with tools like Python, SQL, and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement statistical models to analyze complex datasets.
  • Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and derive causal relationships.
  • Build and interpret explanatory machine learning models, ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Create insightful data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to communicate findings effectively.
  • Leverage Python and SQL for data analysis, model development, and database management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business challenges through data-driven solutions.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on model interpretations and statistical analyses.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in data science, focusing on statistical modeling and data visualization.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and modeling.
  • Visualization Tools: Expertise in Tableau for creating dashboards and visual reports.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Strong understanding of probabilistic and statistical modeling, experimental design, and causal analysis.
  • Machine Learning: Experience with explanatory machine learning techniques and model interpretation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with additional data visualization tools or libraries (e.g., matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment and collaborating with remote teams.
  • Background in working with large-scale datasets and optimizing data workflows.

Education:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
