Position: Scrum Master
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration : 6-month contract
Rate Range?: $50-75/hr

Position Overview:

• This program encompasses the US Army's simulation and training objectives/initiatives.
  • Staffing multiple training sites across different army bases
  • Management information system - insight
    • Product that this team is maintaining
    • Connects to internal systems and integrates with a dozen customer systems
    • Data management
  • Growing and building more scrum teams
  • Needs a Certified Scrum Master to handle the agile execution
  • Experience running agile teams
  • Familiarity of the domain Management Information Systems
  • Leading 2 scrum teams

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

• • • Managing agile processes for their teams
    • Leading 2 scrum teams
    • Hold teams to the standards that are set for agile
    • Running stand ups, planning, retros
    • Working in 2-3 week sprints
    • Keeping set of metrics that help them and management have insight how team are operating
    • Determine what velocity looks like
    • Working in a large scale scrum environment
    • Work in a less methodology - basically how much can you take away to be effective
    • This team is scaling up pretty quick - needs this scrum master to define how communication works across technical teams and the business
    • This is a large scale scrum environment so ideally would like this person with experience helping teams scaling up scrum and keeping/maintain functionality

Selling Points for Candidates:

Requirements:

5+ years of Scrum Master experience

Obtains a background in DOD systems engineering OR a background in software engineering (angular, c#, database, network IT)

Scrum Master Certification (CSM, Agile Scrum Cert)

Azure DevOps for documentation tracking

Ability to secure DOD Secret Level Clearance

Soft skills - collaborative, ability to work with different personalities, can work with both technical teams and the business (csuite stakeholders)
Plusses:

DOD/Government experience is HIGHLY preferred

Earned Value - program management tool

Power Apps - Power BI experience

ALM experience
