V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an Intelligence Analyst - Anomali (Remote) for our premier client.
WHAT YOULL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications
- Anomali Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (ACTIA) is highly preferred.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CEH, GCTI, GCIA) are advantageous.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications or equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence analysis.
- Proven experience with the Anomali Threat Platform and related cybersecurity tools.
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII).
- Proficient in analyzing malware, phishing attacks, vulnerabilities, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools like SIEMs, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint detection technologies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
Threat Intelligence Analysis:
- Leverage the Anomali Threat Platform to collect, analyze, and interpret threat data from multiple sources.
- Identify, track, and report on potential cyber threats, trends, and attack vectors targeting our organization or clients.
- Provide detailed threat assessments and recommendations to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with the SOC and incident response teams to provide real-time intelligence that enhances threat detection and mitigation efforts.
- Assist in the investigation of security incidents, contributing threat intelligence for root cause analysis and response strategies.
- Maintain and optimize the Anomali Threat Platform, ensuring accurate data integration and system efficiency.
- Customize threat intelligence feeds, dashboards, and alerts to meet organizational needs.
- Train and support team members on the effective use of the Anomali platform.
- Produce detailed intelligence reports, risk assessments, and threat briefings tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Regularly present findings to senior leadership, security teams, and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with cybersecurity and IT teams to align threat intelligence with overall security strategies.
- Build relationships with external intelligence sharing communities and industry partners to stay updated on emerging threats.
