ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Role includes but not limited to day-to-day support, analysis, technical design of applications in Fixed Income, Credit, Risk, and integration tools such as MuleSoft, MQ Series, or other event-driven message transmission capabilities or integration products to customize or generate a product.
- Domain experience and expertise includes the entire trading life cycle - pre and post trade - including trading on electronic platforms, order and execution management, clearing and settlement, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting. Ability to break the work down into manageable and straight-forward scope.
- Lead and participate as an SME in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions in accordance with the Product Owner's acceptance criteria and adherence to Enterprise Technology standards and industry best practices.
- Manage and execute a robust unit testing associated to user stories completed during the current sprint. Drive the effort to automate unit testing leveraging DevSecOps practices and tools implemented in the software development pipeline.
- Works within feature team framework providing oversight to scrum teams and engineering functions. As a member of this servant-based team, will analyze features and facilitate decomposition to user story level using experience, judgement and precedents to solve product challenges requiring software solutions.
- Work directly and consult with business stakeholders from initiation of the design process, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative, high quality working software to satisfy the business objective.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:
- Deep and broad knowledge of Fixed Income products, trade life cycle, and compliance related activities.
- Hands on experience and expertise with Broadridge platforms and most importantly IMPACT.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems and ten years of experience as a developer or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment, innovative thinking and precedents
- Investment Technology and Capital Markets Technology experience and IT Solution Delivery
- Ability to communicate complex information in a logical and straightforward manner
- Demonstrable experience working in an Agile delivery methodology
- Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems
- Knowledge of three or more of the following: Business Intelligence (Tableau, MSPowerBI), Distributed (e.g. .Net, Middleware platforms such as MuleSoft/MQ Series, WebServices, Javascript), Data Analysis/Mining (R, Python), Database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, SnowFlake.
- Experience supporting Capital Markets Regulatory Environment - (SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA, FED)
- Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree and ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience supporting / integrating quant libraries
- Experience with machine learning / AI principles3. SaFE Agile certification or commensurate designation
