Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our Solutions Architecture team, focusing on delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, requiring someone who can bridge the gap between high-level architectural requirements and practical implementation.
In this position, you'll be at the forefront of our cloud-native transformation, designing and implementing full-stack applications, APIs, and containerized services while leveraging AWS technologies. You'll play a crucial role in developing reusable software components and building platforms that will serve as the foundation for our enterprise applications. Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using cloud-native technologies and event-driven microservices
- Implement and maintain reusable software components and frameworks for enterprise-wide use
- Design and develop scalable solutions using AWS services and container technologies
- Create comprehensive technical documentation including architecture decision records and system diagrams
- Partner with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and optimize code to ensure high availability and performance
- Ensure all solutions meet security, scalability, and compliance requirements
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to development teams
Required Experience/Skills
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of delivering high-impact software products
- 3+ years of experience as an Application or Solutions Architect delivering enterprise solutions
- Proven expertise in hands-on coding with Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#
- Experience with microservices architecture and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong background in AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
- Understanding of InfoSec and DevSecOps principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Nice-to-Haves
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or Developer)
- Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages
- Background in automotive or manufacturing industry
- Experience with agile methodologies and lean principles
Pay & Benefits Summary
- Salary ranging from $80-98/hr depending on experience,
