RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their team remotely. Permanent remote from anywhere in the US following EST work hours. EST/CST based candidates are preferred.
Responsibilies:
* Chief Information Security Officer will update the Strategic Plan and Roadmap for client Information Security
* Add new items to the plan based on the results of NIST Cybersecurity Assessment
* Review client's needs for a Data Classification and Data Loss Prevention tool
* Compare Data Classification and Data Loss Prevention tools
* Perform Third-Party Security Review of client's critical vendors
* Develop Vulnerability Management Procedures with the Security Analyst Perform the review of the vulnerability scans and assist with the remediation
* Support CTPAT Audit
* Cybersecurity Assessment
* Assist with the Cybersecurity Assessment
* Incident Response
* As a Chief Information Security Officer, you will assist with incident response and evaluation of incidents and lessons learned
* Continue to assist in developing an improved security awareness program
* Provide awareness to IT Leadership, as necessary, regarding potential threat intelligence that could be an issue for the Client
* Keep abreast of trending compliance, security and privacy concerns that could impact the Client's business Conduct research on various security topics as needed
* Continue to update the High-Level Multi-Year Roadmaps to Improve Overall Security Program Maturity
REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
