Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI systems to securely manage and process highly sensitive healthcare data.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements in the life sciences and AI fields.
- Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and implement natural language processing (NLP) solutions for complex language comprehension tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient and effective technical solutions.
- Apply advanced AI/ML algorithms and techniques to solve complex challenges in life science or healthcare.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance of AI systems in production environments.
- Stay updated on the latest AI/ML research and advancements in life science and healthcare technology to drive innovation within the company.
- Take full ownership and accountability for project deliverables in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as needed.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing highly secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Python with a deep understanding of async programming, streaming, and related concepts.
- Experience in the life sciences or regulated industries is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions.
- Strong expertise in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with the life science or healthcare domain.
