Job Description

Thinking Minds Inc. seeks an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Utilities professional to lead end-to-end SAP transformation programs for our client. The ideal candidate will excel in designing, implementing, and managing SAP Utilities solutions, leveraging deep domain expertise in the utility industry (Gas/Electric/Water).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle SAP S/4 HANA IS-U implementations, focusing on CIS and billing systems.
• Develop and document As-Is/To-Be business process models, BRD designs, and blueprints.
• Manage the design, build, testing, and deployment of SAP IS-U solutions, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
• Provide hands-on expertise in WRICEF development, including Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Forms.
• Oversee integration with key systems like GIS, financial systems, credit and collections, and call center portals.
• Mentor functional and technical teams, ensuring project goals and deadlines are met.
• Resolve post-go-live issues, monitor performance, and manage production environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align SAP solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience supporting SAP systems, with 7+ years specific to SAP IS-U.
• Hands-on expertise in meter-to-cash processes, SAP Cloud for Utilities, AMI, and Device Management.
• Proven experience in US-regulated and deregulated utility markets.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in SAP S/4 HANA or Agile methodologies (Scrum Master/Agile Coach).
• PMP or ITIL certifications.
• Experience with Cloud for Energy and other cutting-edge SAP solutions.
