Job Title: Sr. Cardiology Application Analyst - 239676
Position Type: Full Time / Direct Hire
Work Location: Hybrid Onsite - 1 day / week in Houston
Compensation Range: $110,000 - $125,000 / year

Medix is currently seeking a Senior Cardiology Application Analyst for an exciting FULL TIME career opportunity with one of our best Healthcare clients, headquartered in Houston. Please note that this is a hybrid on-site position requiring candidates to be local to Houston and willing to be on-site at least 1 day / week.
Our client is a large health system with 10 hospitals and a large number of clinical sites that offer Cardiac Imaging services. This role will be working on a Corporate Clinical IT team to help support the Cardiology PACS and the 3rd Party Cardiac Imaging applications used across the health system:
- GE Muse
- Merge Cardio PACS
- Syngo Dynamics/ Syngo.Via
- Digisonics / Intelerad Digiview
- Philips Intellispace - ISCV
- Epic Cupid
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting all cardiology software across 10+ hospitals and 100+/- Cardiac Imaging clinics across Houston
- Working 60-70% of the time in tickets and support
- Taking tickets to assign application access and supporting users
- Supporting Cardiology PACS based issues involving DICOM tag mapping / tag morphing / hanging tags
- Providing support for application-based issues such as manual installation, upgrade, troubleshooting
- Working on-call in rotation to support Cardiologists
- 30-40% of the time in project work
- Working with vendors to see application changes through
- Supporting application version upgrades
- Working with Cardiologists to make changes to existing cardiology workflows across modalities like Cath, Cath Lab, Echo, EP Lab, Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Stress Lab, PVD and CathPCI
- Rolling an application out to new modalities
- Implementing brand-new software for the first time
- Documenting all product changes / updates
- Training and supporting users on the changes
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent working experience
- Required 3 years of professional experience in a clinical IT role
- Required hands-on experience with Cardiology Imaging Applications (such as GE Muse, Merge, Epic Cupic, Philips Intellispace ISCV, Philips XPer Hemo, etc)
- A basic understanding of Cardiology Workflows for modalities like Echo/ECG and Cath Lab, etc
- Prior experience in both operational and project work
- Prior clinical experience preferred
