Job Description:
Our client is growing and looking for several strong Sr Go Developers. In this role you will be designing, building, and testing REST based applications in Go. You will also design distributed, durable, scalable, testable, monitored, observable, cloud based applications in the Google Cloud Platform Cloud. You will present designs to your team, you will then work to build, test, demonstrate non-functional aspects of the software and deploy these to production. The client recently transitioned from Jave to Go and Kubernetes to continue to stay on the cutting edge. The client is one of the hidden secrets in Silicon Slopes and offers great onsite amenities and fantastic work/life balance HOWEVER they also offer 100% work-from-home options!

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of solid hands-on Go development experience and passionate about Go and its capabilities
- 5+ years of hands on software development experience
- Experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Docker
- Strong work ethic and ability to communicate with other dev, product and design teams
Bonus Skills:
- Gitlab
- Relational database design, NoSQL Database design (and when to use each), and the normalization of data. You write performant SQL and know how to optimize SQL queries and databases.
- Bilingual (spanish and english)
- Background in Java development
- Experience in the healthcare IT space
- Agile/Scrum
