This role is located on-site at our Rochester Hills, MI location.

As part of our Connected Mobility business unit, you will have the opportunity to learn and support other product managers within our suite of high speed connectivity automotive products. This role will work cross-functionally with other departments, including Engineering, Quality, and Project Management.

What You Will Do

  • Develop sound points of view on technologies, product, customer, competitors, and convert market trends into actionable product line strategies.
  • Assist Product Managers to define, execute, and manage pricing strategy, P&L (profit & loss), and manufacturing footprint for product portfolios, including compilation of competitive price points to manage future price erosion.
  • Help to manage product lifecycle and portfolio management activities.
  • Develop growth and penetration strategies for underdeveloped customers and markets
  • Engage with various internal stakeholders to develop product marketing strategies and collateral
  • Support Molex Total Quality Management (TQM) program by following approved policies and procedures.

  • Learn about Automotive product development process, working with automotive experts and customers
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-paced automotive environment and interact with global OEM's
  • Gain understanding of customer requirements, deliverables and expectations while working within structured development process
  • Participate in reviewing and approving project opportunities, working with customers, Sales and cross-functional development teams
  • Learn key Product Management methodologies such as Action Item Lists, Team meetings, Change Control, Timelines, etc.
  • Discover how to conduct professional, informative, and timely project reviews for the management team.
  • Learn about real world risk identification, management, and mitigation on actual product developments
  • Acquire knowledge of how to escalate and get management support to execute projects and product development
  • Gain insight into financial metrics and performance and business processes

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Currently enrolled in a business -related or engineering degree program
  • Eligible for full time employment after Summer 2027
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
