Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Scrum Master to join our team. The successful candidate will work with project teams to facilitate agile processes, support team collaboration, and ensure successful delivery of projects. This role is ideal for individuals interested in starting their career in agile project management and scrum practices.
Job Responsibilities
As an Entry-Level Scrum Master, you will:
  • Support the development team in implementing and adhering to agile principles and scrum practices.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Assist the team in removing any impediments that could hinder progress, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the team has clear understanding of goals, requirements, and priorities.
  • Track team progress using agile tools and methods, ensuring transparency and accountability within the team.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team feedback and fostering an open, collaborative environment.
  • Document and report on project status, sprint progress, and team performance metrics.
  • Help identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the team in handling the product backlog and refining work items for future sprints.
  • Participate in training sessions and mentorship opportunities to enhance your understanding of agile methodologies and Scrum Master responsibilities.
Basic Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor?s degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent coursework).
  • Basic understanding of agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Additional Qualifications
  • Prior internship or project experience in project management or agile environments is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) is a bonus.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is a plus but not required; training and certification opportunities will be provided.
  • Strong communication and team building skills.
  • Strong test writing skills.

The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is 60K to 85K.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company?s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
