Position Overview

Designers at Autodesk can think across the system, champion design ideas, collaborate with stakeholders, advocate for the customer, and deliver impactful data-driven designs. Our designers use creative and innovative solutions to deliver high-quality experiences our customers will love.

Reporting to the Manager of Experience Design for Marketing Experiences, the Senior User Experience Designer will focus on optimizing and enhancing internal marketing workflows to ensure seamless and efficient operations for our marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user experience design principles, a strong background in marketing processes, and a passion for creating intuitive and effective solutions for internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to understand their workflows, pain points, and requirements
  • Design and implement user-centered solutions to improve internal marketing processes, tools, and systems
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to gather insights and validate design decisions
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, research and service design, and other designers to ensure alignment and successful implementation of design solutions
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance metrics
  • Advocate for best practices in user experience design and ensure adherence to design standards and guidelines
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into internal marketing workflows

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in user experience design, with a focus on internal workflows and processes
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful solutions for complex workflows
  • Strong understanding of marketing processes and tools
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing for enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, and multi-channel experiences
  • Experience with Agile software design methods
  • Experience with Autodesk or comparable competitive products

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $106,500 and $183,700. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
